The Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno (Atlantic Centre of Modern Art) (CAAM) presents the largest exhibitive project held in Europe until now in relation to the work of the artist & anthropologist from the French island of Reunion, Jack Beng-Thi. It is a retrospective display produced by CAAM with the collaboration of Casa África, JTI and the French Institute in Spain.

'Jack Beng-Thi' assembles together a significant selection from his extensive multidisciplinary work, which includes scultures, installations, photographs, videos and the performance that the artist gave on 23 October in the central section of the main CAAM building.

His artistic work consists of historic, social, political & ecological connotations, and is set in a truly deep commitment to the cultures of the varied geographical places in which he has developed his work, in numerous settings in Africa, Asia & Europe.
