The exhibition «Tu país no existe», by the two artists Libia Castro & Ólafur Ólafsson includes performance, installation, video and a kind of artistic display on the front of the building - Gabinete Literario: a large neon sign with the phrase “Tu país no existe” written in the form of a graffiti.

Tu país no existe is an ongoing campaign that began in Istanbul in 2003 (“Your Country Doesn’t Exist”), a year marked by the massive protests around the world against the invasion of Irak by the USA and its allies. Since then, the project has been evolving to include different formats, such as billboards & advertising posters, radio & television commercials, performances, videos, postal stamps and neon graffitis.

A work of art that incites & stimulates public discussion about such a hot issue as nationalism.
