Crónicas de la ciudad y la noche. El engaño imperfecto puts forward a journey in time to recreate life in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria at the start of the XXth century, by virtue of the adaptation of texts by Alonso Quesada. This trip to the past century centres on the projection of a film in the public square of Santa Ana and becomes an entertaining muddle seeing as it is interrupted by a wedding which is being held in the ‘Casas Consistoriales’ at exactly the same time as the film projection.

This romantic musical comedy will turn into a great party where music will play a leading role and will carry the spectator to those dances in ‘la Alameda’ and to the sound of an age crucial to the development of the city.
