The International Film Festival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, due to be held between 9 and 18 April 2021, will offer, from 24 October 2020 onwards, sessions of two full-length feature films and one short one, which may be viewed always on Saturdays at the ‘Cinesa el Muelle’, fortnightly for the rest of this year and monthly in the year 2021.

The activity, presented as “Efecto Cinema”, recalls film titles planned for the edition which had to be cancelled because of the Covid-19 crisis and combines some more recent ones that still haven’t been shown with classics & cult movies rarely projected on the big screen.

The billing of “Efecto Cinema” features a selection of titles intended for adults & children alike to enjoy this coming Saturday 19 December at the ‘Cinesa El Muelle’. The common denominator in the two titles for the first session to be shown at 18:00 hours is surrealism & artistic beauty: Solar Walk by Réka Bucsi and Away by Gints Zilbalodis , while the second which starts at 20:30 hours will feature a classic cult film, a delightful family fantasy comedy: The 5.000 fingers of Dr. T. by Roy Rowland.
