La Chichimurga came about by combining ‘murga’ (group of satirical  street singers) & ‘chirigota’ (female choral folksong). In 2020 a group of female friends with a keen sense of humour and lots of Carnival experience behind them decided to turn reality on its head and take to the streets to perform so as not to lose laughs. In 2021, this time in theatres, they present their new show titled “Chiquito elemento”.
