This project came about due to the restlessness of Kervin Barreto, a Cuban trumpetist settled in Gran Canaria. Taking into account the work evolved with “Birth of the Cool”, Barreto, together with notable & skilled Canarian musicians, offer a magnificent model example of the genre ‘cool’ on the occasion of the birth of Miles Davis.
