Forty years ago ‘Mestisay’ began staging a Christmas concert following the Midnight Mass service on Christmas Eve. First, at the small chapel in the square San Telmo, and after that in San Agustín. The success of the crowd source took them to the public square ‘Plaza del Pilar Nuevo’, where the group performed for many years. In 2021 a  Christmas tradition is recovered in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
