Since the year 2010, ‘Casa de Colón’ together with the Cinema Association ‘Vértigo’, has been evolving a programme of promoting & circulating films of Latin America, by means of an exhibition – strictly within a cultural framework – of a variety of productions of all genres.

Synopsis: El húsar de la muerte is the only silent film that has been conserved in the history of Chilean movies, a look at the society of the time compared then with films like "Battleship Potemkin" by Eisenstein" or "The Gold Rush" by Chaplin. Story of the life & work of the popular guerrilla leader in his fight for the independence of Chile.
