Synopsis 

Finnish artist Maija Isola revolutionised the world of textile design during the ‘50s & ‘60s with some floral prints that would become a global success, from New York to Tokyo.

Film-maker Leena Kilpeläinen reconstructs the incredible life of Maija Isola through extraordinary archival material with photographs, drawings, personal diaries, postcards & animated sequences. The final result is a journey into the inner world of a woman connected with nature and with an overflowing imagination.

Entrance tickets for ‘Filmoteca Canaria’ put are on sale at the Theatre website and at the Box-Office with discounts for the unemployed & students.
