Elena Acosta, director of the ‘Casa de Colón’ (Columbus House) since the year 1991 and honorary citizen of the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria since 2022, has much to contribute on the cultural management of museums in Gran Canaria. This is why the house-museum ‘Casa-Museo’ León y Castillo of Telde, proposes a talk with her, within the framework of this cycle.

With this undertaking, the museum aims to pay merited tribute to the work of important Canarian civil society women in previous years, and who have stood out for their cultural and social work.
