The story takes place in a Galician village of the 20th century. There, the lives of men and women revolve around the beasts that they will sell at the fair. A society where everyone helps, but where envy & resentment are not lacking. This dubious paradise ends in the summer of '36.

War breaks out and fear takes over the village. The peasant’s imagination attempts to survive. Here, a fabulous character appears who, with his ingenious inventions, will change the shape of fear.
