GranCanarian maestro Rafael Sánchez-Araña returns to the ‘OFGC’ season with a concert of Canarian essence thst includes his orchestration of the Symphony “La afortunada” by Santiago Tejera Ossavarry (1852-1936), a new commitment to the recovery of the musical heritage of the Islands. The programme also includes the Concierto para timple (Concert for ‘timple’) by Emilio Coello from Tenerife, featuring one of the great current players of this instrument, Germán López, from Gran Canaria.
