The renowned painter from Cordoba, who figures among the Spanish artists of the early twentieth century that has garnered more attention in recent years, is present in the exhibition 'Isla de Arte' in the work 'Vividoras del amor', a key piece in his career.

To talk to us about the author from Andalucia and his representation of women, we have invited to the museum a great specialist José María Palencia Cerezo, who will chair the conference “La chiquita piconera como mito de la identidad femenina contemporánea”. Starting from the analysis of the meaning of the famous painting and the iconographic evolution of the subject in its pictorial trajectory, the talk will raise the subject of the depth of meaning of the theme and its conversion.
