This film centres on the social aspect of the woman who reformed the penitentiary system and probably was the first female activist of the modern world in Spain. A profile of Concepción Arenal who paid visits to women´s prisons. Her struggle focusses on changing the concept that existed regarding delinquents and what modern jails should be doing.
