Días oscuros is an adaptation by Miguel Ángel Martínez of the theatrical play Un tranvía llamado deseo (A Streetcar named Desire) by Tennessee Williams.

Blanche Dubois turned up out of the blue at her sister Stella’s house in New Orleans, after having lost her job as a teacher. Her prim & proper ways clashed with the coarse manners of her brother-in-law. They both soon discovered that living together would not be so easy.
