LA BALSA DE PIEDRA (THE STONE RAFT) (2002)

Synopsis

Following an earthquake not registered by a single seismograph, a massive crack suddenly appears in the earth's crust along the border between Spain and France. The result is that the Iberian Peninsula is set adrift in the Atlantic Ocean, floating westwards like a gigantic stone raft. The geopolitical impact could be enormous, as the USA sees the possibility of seizing the territory. All that is left behind is Gibraltar, perched lonely on its rock. The Spanish and Portuguese flee the coast and wander inland.

For over 14 years of age

Entrance tickets for ‘Filmoteca Canaria’ put are on sale at the Theatre website a week before the projection, and at the Box-Office with discounts for the unemployed & students.
