Latin music, with the mambo, the chachacha and the guaracha, won over the heart of New York in the decade of the ‘50s. The Palladium hall at ‘Miller’ became the centre of New York for the night’s entertainment and the party of the moment. “Mambo Fever” pays tribute to these rhythms and, above all, to three great musicians & composers, Machito, Tito Rodriguez & Tito Puente. Featuring pieces like Ran Kan Kan, Mambo Inn, Tumba tumbador & Quimbombó, the Perinké Big Band will perform with original arrangements of the era, retrieved by Canarian composer & arranger Rayko León.
