To talk of ´Guernica´is to mention one of the most famous works of art in history. The artist, Vesna González Diez, conducts an artistic exercise in an optimistic & explanatory tone, pictorially speaking, concerning the technique of cubism by using acrylic paints of spot & strikingly bright colours.

The painter offers us a more intimate look at Guernica from its deconstruction, taking it to to pieces and trapping in each & every canvas a strong motive that explains in itself the blight & disgrace experienced; applying the light & colour that the style of Pop Art will permit and always respecting to the utmost Pablo Picasso´s masterpiece, with regard to the dramatic shapes of the characters.
