Visual language is the main form of communication nowadays. Images form part of our daily life, everyone has access to see and also to generate them. 

Visual artist & activist, Yolanda Domínguez will analyse the influence of images in our cognitive process and the construction of our identity, and she will talk about the factors that make these images a key element for social change,  laying special emphasis on the representation of genders and the standardisation of violence in the mass media.
