Singer of flamenco and other musical genres with which he enriches & enhances his artistic career and is constantly experimenting with, although flamenco has been there right from the very beginning.    

Poveda is interested in taking things further than the normal perception of the flamenco singer goes and he tends to penetrate into other fields, something which is not always considered favourable by the more orthodox in the world of flamenco. He shows this interest by looking for the art in other genres and by collaborating on a number of occasions with many different artists of varying disciplines, thus getting to be known by audiences not accustomed to flamenco.
