The declaration of ´Risco Caído´ and the cultural landscape of the sacred mountains of Gran Canaria as UNESCO World Heritage sites feature in a resounding manner in the programme of the island´s philharmonic orchestra, which, conducted by Günther Herbig, will stage a premiere performance of the cantata Montañas Sagradas de Gran Canaria by the composer from Gran Canaria, Ernesto Mateo.

The piece, which will feature the soprano from this island, Estefanía Perdomo and the chorus of the orchestra - OFGC, will follow the structure of a text by chronicler José Antonio Luján.
