The ´Museo Castillo de Mata´ will be the venue for the sessions of “Perversas y malvadas. Mujeres y brujas en los tiempos de la Inquisición. Mito y realidad” a gathering which, from 26 to 29 November, will make all in attendance more aware of some events during one of the most obscure & unfamiliar periods in the History of the Canaries.

Two conferences, one exhibition and an historical re-creation, will delve deeply into and show in vivid detail episodes lived through by women persecuted by the Inquisition between the XVIth and XIXth centuries.
