The Mayor of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Augusto Hidalgo, will convey Christmas Greetings in the form of a symbolic act on the night of 28 November, in the public square plaza de Santa Ana at 20:00 hours, will light up the emblematic square and switch on the decorations installed along a number of streets & squares in the capital city. 

In addition the Municipal Symphony Band of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will perform their first Christmas concert.
