In this first programme the Danish National Symphony Orchestra with the young soloist-Mark Simpson from Britain, performing the Clarinet Concerto (Carl Nielsen) but opening with “In the Highlands” by Niels Gade (Danish maestro & Nielsen’s tutor) and followed by Schubert’s Ninth Symphony.
