Filmoteca Canaria celebrates the 125th anniversary of the birth of John Ford, maker of more than 150 movies and winner of more Oscar awards than any other director, with a cycle featuring a revision of some of his most emblematic films.

Synopsis: 

In 1832 the young 23 year old Abraham Lincoln worked in a small store in New Salem, a quiet town in Illinois. He began reading books and taught himself law. Little by little he realised that his talent as a communicator and his eloquence would enable him to follow this path in life. Unfortunately, the woman he loved died during the winter months and Lincoln decided to go to Springfield to establish a law practice; and it was from there that he began his rise to the very top of the State.
