Synopsis:

Inspector Lohmann is investigating a criminal conspiracy which leads him to the famous criminal Dr. Mabuse, whom he finds admitted in a psychiatric clinic owned by Dr. Baum, an important psychiatrist who is fascinated by the work of Mabuse.
