Female characters play a starring role in works by Pérez Galdós. In fact, many of them are titled with the name of such personalities (Tristana, Gloria, Fortunata & Jacinta, etc). In her participation in the cycle Escritoras que leen a Galdós the writer Carmen Posadas will talk about the role of these female characters in Galdós’ work.
