The Colloquiums of Canarian American History, coordinated by Dr. Francisco Morales Padrón, came about in 1976 in the shape of a small gathering of Americanists to consider matters concerning relations bewteen the Canary Islands & America.

The XXIV Coloquio de Historia Canario Americana (XXIV Colloquium of Canarian American History), which will be held at the ‘Casa de Colón’ between 30 November and 3 December 2020, will revolve around the central theme Los procesos de Globalización en la Historia Atlántica (The process of Globilisation in Atlantic History).
