Miradas a la colección is a permanent activity which offers a visit with guided commentary on single works from the Casa de Colón’ Collection. Each month the focus will be centred on a special piece.

In the month of December 'Miradas a la Colección' feaures San Fernando recibe la embajada del rey de Baeza, a work by the artist from Gran Canaria, Juan de Miranda (1723-1805). We will travel to the XVIIIth century guided by Francisco Javier Pueyo Abril -conservator and Art History teacher at the ‘UNED Gran Canaria’- in order to delve into one of the most significant Canarian artists of his time.
