Encuentros en la Biblioteca (Gatherings in the Library) are talks that allow for the public to interact and get to know the production & creative processes of artists resident in the Canaries. The event begins with an exhibition relating to the work done by each artist and ends with a dialogue between the public and the speaker.

The artist from Gran Canaria Alicia Pardilla will give a talk about her work. In her work she perceives art as a tool to widen knowledge & understanding and as a means of questioning, communicating & transforming.
