“Bárbaros” is an adaptation of the theatrical work “La llegada de los bárbaros” written by the renowned Spanish playwright José Luis Alonso de Santos.

The shortened title has not been done for nothing : the concept of “bárbaro” is capable of having a number of meanings, as one can check in the ‘RAE’ dictionary, and in the same play, it is reflected in all its values and with all its connotations.
