On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of the artist from Gran Canaria Lola Massieu (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 10 March 1921 – 22 November 2007), the ‘Casa de Colón’ has on display samples representative of her works in their collection. And similarly, her visual world is set alongside two other contemorary artists, Yolanda Graziani & Pino Ojeda with the intention of asserting, from a gender standpoint, the important role these women played as creators in the forefront of XXth century avant-garde art in the Canaries.
