The Maestro from Gran Canaria Rafael Sánchez-Araña returns to the season of the ‘OFGC’ opting for a premiere presentation in the islands in collaboration with ‘Promuscan’, for the composition Danza de ideas by David Masperi. The programme allows us to appreciate the talent of another Spanish soloist, Juan Carlos Fernández-Nieto, who together with the ‘OFGC’ gives a presentation in an authentic romantic atmosphere the Piano Concerto nº 2 by Chopin. Sánchez-Araña turns his attention to Shostakovich to complete the programme with the Symphony nº 9.
