The International Cinema & Cuture Interlaced Festival, RIZOMA, has spent ten years discovering talent and offering top-level international cinema together with newer up-and-coming Spanish cinema. ‘Filmoteca Canaria’ summarises these ten years with a cycle that intends to offer a representation of the programme ‘RIZOMA’ over a period of the first decade of the festival.

“Video Blues”

Synopsis: Emma reviews old VHS tapes where it shows faded & discoloured family memories from those distant years of the ‘80s, when she was still only a little girl. While she remembers the trips to the seaside and childhood laughs, she tries to rebuild fragments of a story that she never could quite understand fully, piece together parts of a forgotten puzzle to discover that things were not as they seemed to be.
