Trumpet player Chano Gil renders his special tribute to the music of Miles Davis & his legendary nonet, and the great influence he had for the composers & arrangers that came later. 

With Around 'Birth of the cool' it endorses the importance of the arrangements made for the recording of Davis’s album 'Birth of the cool', in which jazz sounds were blended with instruments more present in classical music, producing a result quite unique until now.
