The 37th edition of the Canaries International Music Festival (FIMC) opens with this concert conducted by the Venezuelan maestro Gustavo Dudamel, who returns to the islands 11 years after his earlier participation at the ‘FIMC’. Under his baton and interpreting works by Schönberg & Tchaikovsky,will be some young Latin-American musicians, coming from Los Angeles (USA), Mexico, Venezuela, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina & Spain. A group of Canarian musicians who are members of the Joven Orquesta de Canarias ‘JOCAN’ (Canaries Youth Orchestra), will form part of the Spanish representation.
