The cycle “Así suena el spaghetti western”, organised by ‘Filmoteca Canaria’, in collaboration with the ‘Festival Internacional de Música de Cine de Tenerife’, FIMUCITÉ (International Film Music Festival of Tenerife), wish to pay tribute to both Morricone and his epigones, Luis Bacalov, Nora Orlandi, the brothers Guido & Maurizio De Angelis and the Spanish composer Antón García Abril, who have also contributed with their music to make a subgenre great, which in its beginnings was treated in a derogatory manner and that, nowadays, is not only considered as a genre in its own right, but has also inspired directors like Quentin Tarantino.

“Adiós Texas” (Texas, Adios)

Synopsis: When Burt (Franco Nero), sheriff of a Texas border town, discovers Cisco Delgado’s whereabouts, the man who killed his father when he was just a boy, he goes to find him in Mexico, where he has become a local tyrant. Burt is reluctantly accompanied by his younger brother, Jim. Once they reach there, they find that the man they seek is something more than just the killer of their father.
