The premises ‘Miller’ continues its intense year’s programming with a new cycle, Palabra de Rock, in which four musicians & writers of individualistic impression merge both disciplines.

These encounters will have as a starting point chat groups in which the attendees will be able to get to know first-hand the way of composing & the literary influences that have marked the career paths of the artists, who will also be available to the audience for debate and to answer questions. The other protagonist of the cycle, the music, will be equally present at the end of each session where the guests will render some of their pieces for half an hour in an intimate ambience.

Guitarrist & composer of the pop-rock band from Granada ‘091’, José Ignacio Lapido started his career in 1999 as a solo act with “Ladridos de perro mágico”; his latest work “El alma dormida” (2017) came about after the interlude in which the legendary group returned to the stage all over the country following a spate of twenty years of inactivity. Song scripts by José Ignacio Lapido also are present in the pepertoires of ensembles such as M Clan, Mikel Erentxun, Los Hermanos Dalton, Babylon Chat, Hareh Lareh & Mala Hora.
