The ‘Palacete Rodríguez Quegles’ delves into Africa by means of its traditional music & dances.

“Encuentros con África” starts off on 6 October with a ‘djembe’ (goblet-shaped hand drum) workshop given by Malle Sarr. Attendees will be able to begin their learning of the characteristic instrument together with the Senegalese percussionist & ‘kora’ player resident in Gran Canaria.
