Mercedes Pinto travelled through Latin America for a period of years till arriving in Mexico, where she settled for the rest of her life. Her life is actually a novel, since her infancy until old age, leaving behind a legendary trail & mark on all those who got to know her.

Inspired by (not based on) this legend and this novel life, Armas Marcelo started years ago the writing of ‘Cuatro veces mariposa’, of which he has finished the first version. He will talk about her life, her legend & the future novel at the ‘Casa de Colón’ (Columbus House). Mercedes Pinto, from reality to fiction and also her relationship with her native land, the Canaries.
