The cycle “Así suena el spaghetti western”, organised by ‘Filmoteca Canaria’, in collaboration with the ‘Festival Internacional de Música de Cine de Tenerife’, FIMUCITÉ (International Film Music Festival of Tenerife), wish to pay tribute to both Morricone and his epigones, Luis Bacalov, Nora Orlandi, the brothers Guido & Maurizio De Angelis and the Spanish composer Antón García Abril, who have also contributed with their music to make a subgenre great, which in its beginnings was treated in a derogatory manner and that, nowadays, is not only considered as a genre in its own right, but has also inspired directors like Quentin Tarantino.

Synopsis: The mercenary & Yankee ex-soldier Django (Franco Nero) arrives at a desert Mexican town with a coffin. His aim: revenge against Major Jackson. A spaghetti-western originally banned in the UK for its violence.
