The Mexican singer & composer Armando Manzanero, who since the ‘70s revolutionised the romantic genre of the ‘bolero’ and whose songs are hummed by listeners on both sides of the Atlantic, died at the end of the year 2020.
For this reason and by way of a tribute, this year Casa de Colón’ (Columbus House) dedicates its traditional altar of the ‘Day of the Dead’ (All Souls Day) to him and inaugurates it with an act of tribute, in which the writer & multi-disciplinary artist, Mª del Pino Marrero Berbel, will trace a path through the career of the singer-songwriter of Mayan roots, while the duo ‘Abrázame’, composed of singer María Acosta & guitarrist Javier Izquier, will render versions of some of his eternal songs.
Limited audience capacity. Free entrance. Registration necessary.
