On Saturday 6 November Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will celebrate a special edition of “Happy Piano Day” at eight venues around the urban.

The musicians will rotate along seven of them which, from 12:00 to 14:00 hourrs & 16:00 to 19:00 hours, will stage 35 musical sessions in which guest artists such as the timple player Germán López, vocalists María Agostina Arnold, Cristina James & Karina Infante, the trumpeter Judith Martín González & guitarrist Juanjo Santa Ana, as well as students from the ‘Fábrica La Isleta’, will participate.

The eighth venue, ‘Jardines del Atlántico’ (Atlantic gardens), alongside the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, will be reserved for the final show which, from 20:00 to 21:30 hours, will feature the ‘OFGC’ Youth Chorus conducted by Marcela Garrónand with the maestro Nauzet Mederos on piano, as well as a performance by the prestigious ensemble led by the Catalan pianist María Parra: the María Parra Trio.

Entrance to the concerts which will take place simultaneously will be free. In the case of the final show in the ‘Jardines del Atlántico’ it will also be free but prior registration is necessary until audience capacity is reached.
