This monologue is focussed on the life of “La Indiana”, a peasant & rancher woman who is forced to emigrate to Cuba at the start of the XX century in search of a better future. Once there and after becoming a widow and with five children she returns to Spain and begins a journey of struggle & fight in which she gains the respect of men & women in the difficult world of agriculture led by men.
