The Canarian Institute of Cultural Development, S.A. (ICDC)  in collaboration with ‘Filmoteca Canaria’, has programmed four audio-visual projections dedicated to cultural heritage. The reels selected will be shown from the month of May till the month of November and will coincide with ephemerides of different kinds associated with that theme.

The cycle is inaugurated, in the month of May with the Austrian film Shirley – visions of reality (2013), directed by Gustav Deutsch, on the occasion of International Museum Day, which is celebrated on 18 May all over the world.

Thirteen of American artist Edward Hopper’s paintings are brought alive by the film, telling the story of a woman who lives a reality that she does not accept.
