The Chilean singer Elizabeth Morris (1973) will take the stage at ‘Miller’ on Saturday 23 July. Her early career was influenced by the ‘Chilean New Song’ movement led by Violeta Parra & Víctor Jara while she was living in exile as a young girl in Germany. Morris has built her celebrated career as a singer song-writer, composer & instrumentalist on the folkloric roots of Latin America; Pedro Aznar & Eva Ayllón have recorded compositions by her. She will come to the island having recently presented her latest album Los ojos del corazón.
