The lawyer Marinetti is an implacable and bitter woman who has denounced almost the entire neighborhood. Her life changes the day in which Omar, a refugee boy, falls from the branch of

her walnut tree. The boy changes her life completely and in order to keep him for herself, she says that he is a walnut and, according to ancient law, all the fruit that falls in her garden belongs to her. The judge & prosecutor, incredulous, listen to the witnesses. Meanwhile, Omar recalls how he had to flee from a country at war and how he lost his parents at sea, hoping to have a chance in life.
