Chichon will inaugurate the season with a spectacular proposal; a selection from Verdi’s Aida in concert, featuring a star cast that includes Latvian mezzo-soprano Elina Garanca on her world debut in the role of Amneris and American soprano Latonia Moore, the current celebrated performer in the title role at great venues such as the Met in New York. Together with them playing Radames is one of the most outstanding current tenors, SeokJong Baek, and the backing of the Las Palmas Opera Festival Chorus and the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra Chorus.
