Synopsis 

An emotional portrait of Sara, the first female taxi driver in Afghanistan. Film-maker Patricia Franquesa captures the force of a strong woman who broke barriers of a society marked by patriarchy. Sara’s face shows bright eyes, untiring in defending women’s rights and achieve that which seemed impossible. An inspiring story of friendship between two vibrant women, a song of empathy and dialogue between cultures. The circular tale of Sarah’s life story revolves from fear of love and love of fear. A testimony to a reality that no longer exists.

Entrance tickets for ‘Filmoteca Canaria’ put are on sale at the Theatre website a week before the projection, and at the Box-Office with discounts for the unemployed & students.
