The ‘Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra’, cultural benchmark of the island and loyal to the Festival since its inception, appears in this edition together with its regular conductor, Karel Mark Chichon, and featuring the Latvian mezzo-soprano Elina Garanca, performing 'Wesendonck Lieder', work that the label ‘Deutsche Grammophon’ has just recorded & released.
